Hardwood, Tile and Luxury Vinyl Flooring in Orange County
Hardwood, tile and luxury vinyl, chosen in the same showroom as your cabinetry and countertops — and installed by the same company that sells them, with full-service installation on every purchase.
Orange County’s flooring showroom, inside a remodeling company
Most flooring is sold by flooring shops, and most remodels are done by companies that send you to one. Kitchen Cabinets and Beyond stocks flooring for a specific reason: the floor is the largest single surface in a room and it touches every other decision in it. Choosing it in the same building, on the same afternoon, as your cabinetry and countertops is the difference between a room that coordinates and one that nearly does.
We supply and install three families, and we are straightforward about what each is for.
Hardwood, tile and luxury vinyl
Hardwood is durable and timeless, available across a wide range of finishes and styles, and it is the only one of the three you can refinish rather than replace. It rewards a house that will keep it for twenty years and it is the wrong specification for a room that regularly gets wet.
Tile is the answer where water goes, and increasingly the answer in open-plan living space too. Large-format porcelain has displaced small formats in most of the work we do: fewer grout lines read as a quieter floor and are considerably easier to live with. It is also the natural partner to a tiled bathroom, where the floor, the shower and the niche often want to be the same material.
Luxury vinyl is the cost-effective option with genuinely superior durability against water, pets and dropped pans. We are not going to tell you it is indistinguishable from oak. We will tell you it is the right choice for a busy family kitchen or a laundry room, and that it costs a fraction of what it imitates.
Sequencing, and why it matters
The order in which flooring goes in relative to cabinetry is not a matter of preference. Get it wrong and you end up with a visible seam at the dishwasher, an appliance that cannot be pulled out without lifting boards, or a toe-kick sitting a quarter-inch proud. Because we do the cabinetry and the flooring, that sequence is something we decide and manage rather than something you have to referee between two contractors.
Full-service installation comes with every purchase — subfloor preparation, underlay where the material calls for it, laying, trims, thresholds and the transitions to adjoining floors.
Come and see it
The Anaheim showroom carries the flooring selection alongside custom cabinets, countertops, backsplash materials and tile, so a whole house can be specified in one visit. Book an appointment and you will get a consultation built around your rooms and your budget; walk in and you are welcome to browse.
Kitchen Cabinets and Beyond has served Orange County since 1995 and holds California contractor licence #902246. Book a flooring consultation or ask for a free estimate.
Choosing a floor is choosing a compromise
How a flooring project runs
Book a consultation
Come in and tell us which rooms, how they get used and what is going down elsewhere in the house. We schedule appointments so a consultant is free when you arrive rather than finishing with someone else.
Choose the material
Hardwood, tile or luxury vinyl, seen against the cabinet doors and stone you are choosing at the same time. Sample boards are useful; a full plank on the floor under showroom light is better.
Measure and quote
Rooms are measured properly, including transitions, thresholds and how the run meets existing floors. Waste factor and layout direction are part of the quote, not a surprise on the invoice.
Installation
Full-service installation comes with every purchase — subfloor preparation, underlay where the material calls for it, laying, trims and thresholds. We do not sell you a floor and leave you to find a fitter.
Flooring running through finished projects

Flooring is the one surface that touches every other one. Bring your cabinet and countertop choices to the Anaheim showroom — or start here and take the floor to the rest of the room.
Reviewed by the people whose floors we laid
You have a great design showroom. It was a wonderful place to start with our remodel and gave us some great ideas. The cabinet installer was a true craftsman. The whole process went smoothly and was on time.

What people ask before they choose
What types of flooring do you carry?
We specialise in hardwood, tile and luxury vinyl flooring, in a range of finishes and formats. The showroom carries the selection alongside the cabinetry, countertops and backsplash materials, which is the point — flooring chosen in isolation is the most common way a remodel ends up almost coordinated.
Do you install, or only supply?
Both. We provide full-service installation with every purchase, so the company that sold you the floor is the company responsible for how it goes down. That includes subfloor preparation, trims, thresholds and the transitions to whatever the floor meets.
Do I need an appointment?
It helps. Schedule one and you will get a consultation tailored to your rooms and your budget rather than a walk around the samples. Walk-ins are welcome Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm; we are closed on Sundays.
Can I run the same floor through the whole house?
Usually, and it is the single most effective way to make a house feel larger — a continuous floor removes the visual breaks that chop an open plan into rooms. The exception is genuinely wet areas, where tile or luxury vinyl is the safer specification even if hardwood runs everywhere else.
Should flooring go in before or after the cabinets?
It depends on the material and the project, and it is a sequencing decision we make deliberately rather than by default. Getting it wrong is how a floor ends up with a visible seam at a dishwasher, or a dishwasher that cannot be removed without lifting boards. If we are doing your kitchen remodel as well, we manage that order for you.
Which areas do you serve?
We proudly serve Orange County and the surrounding areas, working from the showroom in Anaheim.
