Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeling in Anaheim, CA

This is the city the showroom is in. Anaheim runs from the Colony's pre-1930 bungalows through mile after mile of 1950s and 60s West Anaheim tract housing to the Platinum Triangle's mid-2000s condos, and the three could not want more different work. A Colony kitchen is a preservation problem. A West Anaheim kitchen is a wall and a soffit. A Platinum Triangle kitchen is a storage problem in a footprint nobody can change.

Three Anaheims, three different kitchens

Anaheim is old enough and large enough that “an Anaheim kitchen” means nothing on its own. The city started as a colony settlement in the 1850s, expanded hugely in the post-war decades, and has been adding dense infill near the stadium since the 2000s. Each of those layers left a different kitchen behind.

The Colony and the historic districts north and west of downtown are Craftsman and Period Revival, and their kitchens were never designed for how anyone cooks now — small, closed, with a service porch beside them and a pantry that is really a cupboard. The original millwork is usually worth keeping, which is exactly why these are custom cabinetry projects: a catalogue door will not match a 1918 trim profile, and a standard carcass height will not meet the ceiling. Absorbing the service porch is the move that most often gives the room the counter run it never had.

West Anaheim is the city’s largest housing block by far — single-storey tracts from the 1950s and 60s on flat lots, with the kitchen closed off and a soffit above the wall cabinets. The boxes in these houses are usually sound, which makes refacing plus a new worktop the highest-value project we quote here. Where the wall to the dining room is not bearing, taking it out changes the house.

The Platinum Triangle and the newer infill are a different problem entirely. Layout is fixed by the building and plumbing rarely moves, so the work is cabinet interiors, surfaces and lighting.

What being local actually changes

The showroom is on East La Palma Avenue, just off the 91. For an Anaheim client that is not a marketing line — it is the difference between waiting for a site visit and getting one the same day, and between choosing a slab from a photograph and walking in to stand next to it.

It also means our flooring, countertop and cabinet selections are all in the building you are already ten minutes from, which is the entire argument for doing a whole house with one company rather than three.

Bathrooms in Anaheim

The same split applies. Colony bathrooms are small, often with the original tile still in place, and the honest conversation is about what can be preserved against what has to be rebuilt for waterproofing to be sound. West Anaheim hall bathrooms are compact tub-shower rooms where layout and storage are the win. Newer condos want material and comfort — see bathroom remodeling for how those projects run.

Anaheim questions

What Anaheim homeowners ask

Can I just walk into the showroom?

Yes — Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm. We are closed on Sundays. Booking ahead only means a designer is free the moment you arrive instead of finishing with someone else. We are at 2910 E La Palma Ave, Ste B.

We are in the Colony. Does the historic district restrict a kitchen remodel?

Anaheim's historic preservation rules govern the exterior and the streetscape, not your kitchen cabinets. What the era does affect is fit: ceiling heights, out-of-square walls and existing trim profiles mean a Colony kitchen is usually custom cabinetry rather than a catalogue order. We measure and draw before anything is made.

Our West Anaheim house has a wall between the kitchen and the living room. Can it come out?

Often, and it is the change that transforms these houses. Whether it is bearing determines the cost, so we establish that first rather than quoting around it. Where it is bearing, a wide cased opening usually achieves most of the effect for a fraction of the structural work.

Do you work on condos in the Platinum Triangle?

Regularly. The constraints are the building's, not ours — HOA approval, service lift bookings, and the fact that plumbing and venting rarely move. That pushes the work toward cabinetry, surfaces and lighting, which is where the visible difference is anyway.

How quickly can you get to us?

Anaheim is the shortest trip we make. For measuring and for site visits during a build, being ten minutes away genuinely changes how responsive a project feels.
